I said recently that I would publish my Top Ten Reasons Why I Love Twitter – so after some careful thought here are my ORIGINAL reasons why you might want to Love your Twitter account too…
- Inspiring – People all over the world are doing inspiring things Twitter offers you a window to glimpse at inspiration.
- Connectiveness – I coined this phase for social media yet twitter performs this with speed. I just found twibes !
- Learning – Twitter is a never ending source of knowledge BUT be careful what you believe
- Lead Generator – whether buying or selling products, services or just ideas twitter out performs any other platform
- Targettable – no matter what you follow or seek to follow you will find it on twitter
- Change – Obama knows change – if you spend time in twitter you can see revolutions constantly – change is good !
- *Happenings – Events of every imagination can be found in twitter celebreties, politics, disasters, business, party’s – never say I’m bored. (new edit – see video below on 9/11 by Charlie Sheeen)
- Immediate – search & announce on twitter before anywhere else – twitter is today’s fastest gossip channel
- Linkable – 140 chars may not be enough to tell the complete story – twitter knew this and built in links
- Choice – YOU choose the content you get and send out – if you don’t like something unfollow if you love it – follow

*Charlie Sheen addresses the President about 9/11 in a special video message, shortly after releasing his “20 Minutes with the President,” specifically addressing 20 key points that need to be answered by a truly independent investigation.
Sheen’s message is a call to action, not only for President Obama to address the pertinent issues, but for activists everywhere to pressure their representatives and leaders, wherever they may be, to ‘be on the right side of history’ and take back the country through peaceful revolution and true grassroots dissent.
