Just before Christmas I had the opportunity to have lunch with a bunch of Microsoft evangelists and TDM members. The discussion was how we perceived Microsoft today – during the conversation an opinion was offered that Microsoft, if it did not change had the potential to become like a Power Utility, something everyone needs but pay the bills because we have to and NOT because we want to – Could the latest offer to buy over Yahoo change Microsoft ? and save it from its current possible future ?
