OAS_RICH(‘Middle1’);

Austin, Texas—Hoover’s, a Dun & Bradstreet company, and Visible Path Corp., a company that helps organizations build corporate networks, on Thursday announced the official debut of Hoover’s Connect, a social network for business. The network has been available in beta on Hoover’s Web site since May. It combines Hoover’s business information with Visible Path’s relationship management technology to help business users understand who at other companies they should be targeting for relationship building and gives them a way to reach those people. —Carol Krol

Sharing information across teams in a social and dynamic way the Brandstation platform enables companies to enjoy the functionality of a Web 2.0 corporate social network for team collaboration. http://www.brandstation.tv
    (We recently did some bespoke API dev work to get information out of second life into a brandstation corporate environment which was fun)

    Given the influence social networking has on the web, it seems only natural that businesses should use this to their advantage. Good to see that there are platforms like Brandstation being made to cater to this potentially huge market
